The Task
Ipsen was looking for a world class benchmarking methodology for its 5 plants in Europe. This was the first step towards the creation of various improvement programs.

The Approach
Mainnovation presented a plan in which it enriched its VDMXL audit with detailed maturity matrices for each VDM competence. Each plant is compared in terms of the qualitative and quantitative benchmark data. The assessments identify the strong and weak areas for each site and can subsequently be used to develop a unique improvement program for each site.
The first audit has currently been completed for Ipsen Dreux in France. A schedule has been prepared for the other European sites.
