EvidesEvides Industriewater may be an example for industry in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The Task
In 2010, Evides N.V. asked Mainnovation to create a uniform and improved asset management function for all its business units, including Industriewater.

The Approach
Together with representatives from the organization, the current process model, job descriptions, consultation structure, critical performance indicators (KPIs) and ICT support were reviewed. This company-wide asset management framework was enhanced with VDM insights and best practices.
Evides Industriewater subsequently received its PAS55 certification, the precursor to the ISO 55000, in 2011. This was a logical follow-up to the asset management project with Mainnovation. PAS55 resulted in creating even broader support and in safeguarding the asset management improvements. Mainnovation was involved in the asset management implementation at Evides until the spring of 2012, and provided substantive advice, employee coaching and project management services. In this role, Mainnovation supported Industriewater’s PAS55 certification.
At the invitation of Mainnovation, Evides Industriewater delivered a presentation of its practical experiences at the first European Asset Management Conference in Brussels on 27 March 2012. In view of the many positive responses from the audience, it appears that Evides Industriewater may be an example for industry in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Mainnovation’s Added Value
Mainnovation proved to be an experienced interlocutor in the area of ISO 55000 certification. For Evides, the basis for the certification was inherent in its use of the insights provided by the VDM Process Map and the associated best practices.
