The task
In order to achieve high level asset management, Evides wanted to obtain the PAS55 certification for the Evides industrial water business unit. Mainnovation was asked to provide support to the organisation that had already embraced VDM^XL.

The approach
A start was made with preparing the organisation for the first official audit by carrying out a pre-audit including collecting the correct, available material (vision documents, process descriptions, reports, etc.). This pre-audit provided insight into a number of points that still needed to be brought to a higher level. Based on this, an improvement plan to complete the found lagoons was drawn up before the first official audit took place.

Mainnovation offered second-line assistance in realizing this improvement plan before the official audit in which Evides Industriewater obtained its certificate.

In 2015, the Pas55 certification was successfully converted to ISO55000.

Mainnovation brought substantive knowledge of asset management to water companies and those at Evides in particular, knowledge of organisational forms and roles, work processes and departmental control. Mainnovation was able to draw up an effective improvement plan based on its knowledge of certification processes for PAS55 / ISO55000.
