IBM Pulse is the largest annual conference for Maximo users around the globe. We are proud to announce that we will launch our newest version of IBM Cognos I VDM Inside on this event. IBM Cognos | VDM Inside is a new and innovative KPI Dashboard that is built in IBM Cognos technology and fully integrated with IBM Maximo. It uses more than 100 KPIs, PIs and drill downs and is based on the successful Value Driven Maintenance® (VDM) methodology of Mainnovation. VDM has helped hundreds of companies around the world with creating economic added value through improving uptime, downsizing maintenance costs, increasing asset safety and reducing spare part inventories. 

One of these companies is the Port of Antwerp. Antwerp is the 2nd largest port in Europe and the 10th largest in the world. More than 10 internal departments maintain numerous types of assets. They adopted VDM to standardize and improve the maintenance processes and selected IBM Maximo as the corporate EAM system. The implementation included Maximo Mobile Inventory Manager, workflows for work order follow up and purchase order approval and an interface to the financial system. On top of that IBM Cognos | VDM Inside was implemented to monitor and analyze maintenance performance. Mainnovation is nominated for the Best of Show Award and will give a final evaluation presentation at the Pulse Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, March 4, 2012.
